He was predeceased by: his wife Francis Lorraine Bowling (Veenstra); and his siblings, Bob, Joseph Bowling and Mildred Preston. He is survived by: his children, Mary Burgess (Mitch) of White Cloud, MI, Mark Bowling of Holland, MI, Michael Bowling, Tom Fink of Phoenix, AZ and Matthew Bowling (Michele) of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Tyler Burgess (Julie), Travis Burgess, Amber Waugh (Jacob) and Amanda Bond; his great grandchildren, Kayla Mae, Lilliayn, Tyler and River Burgess; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Bowling and Gertrude Emelander. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
