He is survived by: his wife Nora Luidens; his children, John, Kathryn Luidens (Watson) and Lyz Luidens; his siblings, Mary (Luidens), Steve Prins, Kathy (Luidens) and Steve Ippel; and his cousin Steve Smit. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
