She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Boomers and Mary Boomers; and her siblings, Joanne Buist, Donna Mast, Diane Crawford and Robert Boomers.
She is survived by: her husband Gerard Kruys; and her children, Tamara Walton (Glen), John Kruys (Rachael) and Barbara Rinck (Jeff). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
