It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Scott Shaffer of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Steenhagen. He is survived by: his wife Kristy; his children, Justin Shaffer of Jenison, Jessica King (Joel) of Jenison, Kristen Boyle (Sean) of Wyoming and Katlin Shaffer (James Smeltzer) of Holland; his grandchildren, Annabel, Everlee, Josette Boyle, Bryson and Sawyer King; his stepfather Ron Steenhagen; and his siblings, Terri Brower, Ron Steenhagen II, Anita Hicks and BJ Shaffer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bob, contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice.
