He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Brent Buning (Becky), Bobbi Buning-Jeltema, Jordan Buning (Susan) and Kristin Ponstein (Joe); his grandchildren, Chad Buning (Tessa), Carley Mazure (Josh), Lilly Jangala (Sam), Benjamin Jeltema, Maddie Wait (Connor), Grayson Buning, Landon Buning, Morgan Buning, Ashleigh Ponstein, Trent Ponstein and Gavin Ponstein; his brothers, Larry Buning (Mary), Doug Buning and Greg Buning (Sarge); and his sisters-in-law, Donna VanHaren and Dotty Burkett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
