He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boven and Julia Boven (Mulder); and his siblings, Irma, Nellie, Del, Harold, Marian, Janice, Gladys and Gord.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Boven (DeHaan); his children, Sandy, Al Wychers, Keith, Pam Boven (Hein), Bonnie, Steve Schrotenboer, Greg, Ruth Boven (Hoekwater), Mike, Lori Boven (Schut), Beth and Scott Vander Kolk; and his brother-in-law James DeHaan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
