She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Cheryl De Jong (Nick); her nieces, Allison Veldkamp (Brian) and Katelin VandenBerg (Trevor); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison, Everett, Julia, Lucas Veldkamp, Jeremiah and Hendrik VandenBerg; and her parents, Harold Grit and Dorothy Grit. She was also cherished by her family, friends.
