He was predeceased by: his former wife Marie Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his sister Patricia Klofta (Drew); his stepsons, Andy Fisher (Shanna) and Ben Fisher (Cait); his grandchildren, Hadleigh and Micah Fisher; his children, Randy and Deb VanderKooy; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Battles (Jan), Bob Battles, John Battles (Phyllis), Dick Battles, Susie Battles, Mary Wieging (Jack), Pat Walcott, Lee Vellenga, Marylyn Vellenga and Lori Vellenga.
