It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Van Baren Jr. (Hudsonville, Michigan), born in South Holland, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baren and Grace Van Baren; and his siblings, Gise, Eileen Hauck, Alice and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, John (Linda), Jay (Heidi), Jeff (Melonie), Joel (Brenda), Janis Van Dyk (Jon) and Jim (Susan); his sister Ruth Oosterhouse (Tom); and his sister-in-law Claira. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
