Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Koets of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 80, on October 18, 2023. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ken Vis, Elizabeth DeBoer and Lois Hekman; her son-in-law Robert Krueger; and her nephew Patrick Geers.

She is survived by: her husband Jay; her children, Shonda Krueger, Cami, Rob Nyquist, Jayson and Leah Koets; her grandchildren, Nichole, Kayla, Christian, Rylie and Jaylynn; her siblings, Harriet Karel, Esther (Mike Alsum), Winona (Cal Geers), Bill (Barb Vis) and Patricia Vis-Deur; and her siblings-in-law, Lorrie Vis, Charles Hekman, Mel DeBoer, Lee, Ruth Koets and Noreen Koets.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hudsonville Christian School or Unity Christian High School.
