He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoonhorst and Frieda Hoonhorst (Wendell); and his siblings, Rich, Wendel, Dave, Harold, Bob, Don and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hoonhorst; and his brother Fred Hoonhorst. He is also survived by friend, and the heart of his family.
