With solemn reverence, we commemorate Delores Leona Olive Wheelock (Hudsonville, Michigan), born in Quincy, Illinois, whose life came to an end on December 23, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband John Wheelock; her son Jeffrey Wheelock; her granddaughter Kristina Dalstra; her parents, Pete Watson and Leona Watson; and her brother Dr. Larry Watson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Wheelock, Deb Dalstra and Kim VanOosterhout (Scott); her grandchildren, Chad Dalstra (Meg), Dan Dalstra (Karen), Stephanie Tagg, Jake Smigiel (Kristen) and Jessica McConnell (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Aaron Myers (Katie), Kamerin, Kaitlin, Koda Tagg, Lyssa, Lily Dalstra, Lauren, Erin, Andrew Dalstra, Conrad, Gemma and Leona Smigiel; her great great grandchildren, Aubrey and Landon Myers; her sister-in-law Sylvia Baxter; and her friend Tim Rollin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In honor of Delores and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hudsonville Congregational United Church of Christ.
