He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Berg and Nellie Vanden Berg; his former wife Dolores; his daughter Cynthia Marie; and his siblings, Herman Vanden Berg and Helene Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Vanden Berg; his sons, David Vanden Berg and Daniel Vanden Berg; his stepchildren, Jennifer, Jon Hamming, Jeremy and Jill Crosby; his sister Doris McDonald; and his brother-in-law Ted (Michele Cutler). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters.
