As we bid adieu to Darlene Kay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Darlene Kay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hessel Veltema (Barney) and Nora Veltema. She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Talsma, Arn Veltema (Shirley), Bruce Veltema (Diane), Roger Veltema, Rose Veltema, Diana Blevins (David) and Donna Elston (Craig).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jamestown Baptist Church (2472 Quincy St, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Farm in Allendale or the Activity Fund at Laurels of Hudsonville.
