She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Tanis; her son Bruce Tanis; and her siblings, Henry Faber, Jeanette Boes, Elizabeth "Popie" Faber, Helen Kits, Grace Faber, Gladys Marshall and Paul Faber.

She is survived by: her children, Larry (Marianne Tanis), Luanne (Mike Hindenach), Bill (Maribeth Tanis) and Jeff (Laurie Tanis); her daughter-in-law Kelly Tanis; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Tanis, Terri Tanis and Reona Wilcox (Don). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
