It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Mae Postma DeWeerd of Hudsonville, Michigan, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Geurink and Jennie Geurink; her former husband Peter Postma; her husband Elmer DeWeerd; her great grandchild Keaton Roelofs; and her siblings, Donna, Alma, John Jr., Hazel and Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Postma, Diane Koning (Chuck), Doug Postma (Cindy) and Dawn Nagelkirk (Gary); her stepchildren, Maribeth Bruins (Bob), Duane DeWeerd, Terri Mulder (David) and Cheryl Battjes (Mark); her siblings, Glen Geurink (Betty), Marilyn Schepel and Joan Geurink; and her sister-in-law Alice Geurink. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
