It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon D. Crandall of Hudson, Michigan, born in Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Demur and Hazel May Crandall (Elliott); his son Bruce Crandall; his sons-in-law, Tim Shoemaker and Mike Modin; his wife Gladys Crandall; and his siblings, Donald Crandall and Helen Patterson.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Modin, Karen Shoemaker and Keith Crandall (Laurie); and his stepchildren, Darlene, Ronda and Duane. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
