He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Berkshire and Mary M. Berkshire (Burger); his son Dean Max Berkshire; and his brothers, Donald, James, Jackie and Harold Berkshire.
He is survived by: his wife Janice D. Harcourt; his children, Ronnie Berkshire (Lisa) of Hudson and Kim Berkshire of Hudson; and his grandchildren, Ty Berkshire (Tasha), Chelsea Gallagher (Justin) and Kayla Francoeur (Trevor). He is also survived by Nine great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Lenawee or Lenawee humane society.
