He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Patrick and Carrie Patrick (Keister). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Jean" Patrick (Burman); his children, Robert "Lynn" Patrick of Sebewaing and Tracy Patrick (Chris Temple) of Hudson, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Patrick "Wyatt" Scudder of Addison and Kaylee Jean Smith (Kamal) of Holland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Addison Fire Department, a cause that was close to Robert's heart.
