She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Redmann and Rose Redmann (Schmidt); and her spouse E. A. "Van" VandeZande. She is survived by: her sons, Brad VandeZande (Darlene) of Hudson, Barry VandeZande (Terri) of Hudson and Brian VandeZande of Adrian; her granddaughters, Kimberly Poe (Chad) of Jackson and Michelle Rose Jackson (Steve); her stepgrandchildren, Heather Hewlett (Edd) of Hillsdale, Ian Taylor (Mandi) of Delaware and Shane Wasnich (Sherry) of Hillsdale; and her brother Ron Redmann of Brandon Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials are suggested to the Hudson Museum or the Hudson District Carnegie Library.
