It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Kathleen Crook of Hudson, Michigan, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Barbara M. Hughes (Exel); her husband Charles Robert Crook; and her mother-in-law Bernice Herder. She is survived by: her children, Susan Hinman, Chuck Hinman (Megan) and Carolyn King; her grandchildren, Marcus James, Carmen James and Hailey King; her sisters, Lisa Fleming (Jay) and Debra LaPoint; and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Roe (Paul) and Walt Crook (Kaye). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Homes (504 W Main St, Hudson, MI 49247). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
