James Bertis Bowman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Bertis Bowman of Hudson, Michigan, who passed away on November 13, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Bowman and Hazel Ilo Bowman (Quackenbush); his spouse Jean Ruth Bender of Waldron; his children, Steven Bowman (Mary) of Conroe, TX, Mitchell Bowman (Jeanne) of Clayton, John Bowman (Cheryl) of Murfreesboro, TN. and Cynthia Binns (John) of Addison; his siblings, Franklin Bowman of Jonesville and Beverly Allion of Hillsdale; and his daughters, Barbara Skinner (Gilbert) of Port Ludlow, WA and Susan McCallum (John) of Rollin. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, over 40 great grandchildren along with 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lenawee County Hospice Center or the Hudson Museum, where a picture of Jim working at M&S Manufacturing is on display.
