He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Seifer and Jeanette Farmer Huff; his fiancée Pamela Byers; and his sister Belinda Fox. He is survived by: his sons, George Rutledge (Kellie) and Lucas Rutledge; his stepchildren, Frank Lauffer, William Lauffer and Marcey Lauffer; and his siblings, Greg Seifer, Pam Seifer-Bauer (Dennis) and Luella Stevens. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
