He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll C. Sprague and Myrna Harris Sprague; his siblings, Douglas Sprague (Shirley June) and Shirley Ann Mitchinson (Al); his brother-in-law Thomas Quinn; and his grandson Jack Tusick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Tusick (Raymond), Rita Couch (Tim), Lisa Alexander (Jim) and Lynda Mazzurco; his grandchildren, Nicholas Thomas, Hillary Tusick (Sam Nowak), Kelly Hays (Drew), Alex Marshall (Paul), Matt Tusick, Carl "Joe" Mazzurco, Tim Alexander and Lauren Alexander; his siblings, Alfred Sprague, Shelia Mitchinson (Gordon), Brenda Cattell (Elden) and Sonja Quinn; and his friend Jean Friis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
