With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Leland Lang of Hubbard Lake, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Eskuri; and his siblings, David Lang, Elaine Timm (Coleman) and Eilene Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Marion Bartz; his children, Valerie Larson (Steven) of Troy, Mark Lang (Annette) of Midland and Delynn Streng (Joseph) of Freeland; his grandchildren, Rachael Halverson (Mark), Amelia Dotson (Dan), Stephanie Chapman (Aaron), Katrina Terry (Nathan), Natalie Spalding (Russ), Nathan Larson (Diane), SaraLynn Johnson (Jonathan), Dylan Lang (Shannon), Jamie Streng, Aaron Streng and Adam Streng; his sister Patricia Cowden (Ron Rosbeck); and his siblings-in-law, Wilmer Timm, Jim Sanford and Lydia Lang. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Lutheran Church.
