He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Schepke; his son William "Billie" Schepke; his grandson Nicholas Phipps; and his siblings, Iverna Rizzi, Shirley Smith, Robert Schepke and Clarence Schepke, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Rudy Schepke (Shelly), Jim Schepke (Phyllis) and Lisa Ravitz (Terry); his grandchildren, Nathan Schepke (Shannon), Samantha Phipps (Justin), Sarah Polizowicz (Quintin), Robin Phipps (Krystal), Angie Phipps (Randy), Holly Roberts (Jesse), Katrina Schepke, Jimmy Schepke, Kristin Olson (Josh) and Jeffrey Schepke (Taryn); his sisters, Barbara Eagle (Bill) and Emily Hitchcock; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Smith (Helen) and Holly Schepke. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many loved friends and neighbors.
Interment: St. Catherine Cemetery, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
