He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Nordstrom; and his brother Howard Bartz. He is survived by: his children, Diane Krajnik (Don) of Alpena, James Bartz (Bonnie) of Alpena, Rick Bartz of Marquette and Mich; and his sister Jeanette Amell (Jim) of Hubbard Lake. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
