We bid farewell to William G Atkinson of Howell, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 76. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Atkinson and Ardis Atkinson (Chapman); his wife Wilma Jean Thompson-Atkinson; and his brothers, Don Barbersek and Ralph Barbersek.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Metz (Chris) and Brian Atkinson; his stepchildren, Kari Hendrix (Nathan), Tanya Pillar (Dave) and Larry Thompson; and his sister-in-law Janet Barbersek. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home - Howell Memorial Chapel (1700 W Highland Rd, Howell, MI 48843). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
