She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Shirley and Cecile Shirley (Overby); her husband John Machnis; her son Damon; and her grandson Andrew.

She is survived by: her children, Chelyn Poljan and Darin Hall (Vicki Peabody); her grandchildren, Justine, Drayton, Krystal and Martin "Junuh"; and her great grandchildren, Pyper, Grayson, Damon, Aurora, Merida, Jax, Callen and Donovan.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home - Howell Memorial Chapel (1700 W Highland Rd, Howell, MI 48843). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Happy Paws Haven Co or Livingston Educational Service Agency (LESA).
