She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kempf and Florence Kempf (Vasher); her husband Clarence Borener; her son Charles Borener; and her siblings, Edna Leitshuh and Bud Kempf.

She is survived by: her children, James Borener (Helen) and Maureen Borener-Walker (Donald); her grandsons, Charles Borener (Heather), Nathan Borener, Daniel Borener (Kristen) and Jeffrey Borener (Amanda); her great grandchild Harper Maynard Borener; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Genautis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
