He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kniffen (Doris) and Myra Kalmbach (Roland); his son Richard Kniffen; his brothers, Keith Kniffen and Ron "Boomer" Kniffen; his close friend Elizabeth Sinn; his daughter-in-law Carlene Kniffen; and his grandson Scotty Kniffen.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Kniffen, Kimberly Crawford (Scott), Julie Keiffer (Doug) and Zola Love; and his daughter-in-law Carol Kniffen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
