He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Metz and Katherine Metz (Rosich); and his siblings, George Paul Metz (late Elaine) and Patricia McAuley. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Ann (Olmsted); his sons, Philip Metz (Sharon) and Brian Metz (Jill); his grandsons, Andrew, Jack and Michael "Moe"; and his siblings, Thomas Metz (Mary), Sharon Daniels and Mary Beth Waters (late William). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
