He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Ellen and Mary Ellen; and his siblings, Juanita Spencer (late Rudy), Mirl Spencer (Josephine), Margaret Watkins (Carl), Bill Spencer (Kay) and Bob Spencer (late Sharon).

He is survived by: his children, Jim Spencer (Yan), Noah Spencer (Kim) and Ashely Marovich (Frank); and his sibling Lonnie Spencer (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
