She is survived by: her husband Leo Mayer; her sons, Joseph Mayer (Michelle) and James Mayer (Tricia); her grandsons, Alexander, Austin, Christopher (Haley) and Jonathan Mayer; and her siblings, Vincent Sama (Angela) and Francis Mayer (Robert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Brighton (600 E Main St, Brighton, MI 48116). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (2201 S Old US Hwy 23, Brighton, MI 48114).
