He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Smigielski and Pelagia Smigielski (Olszewski); his wife Sandra Smigielski (Westfall); and his brothers, Frank Smigielski, Gerard Smigielski and James Smigielski.
He is survived by: his children, John Smigielski (Lisa), Danielle Smigielski, Michael Smigielski and Timothy Smigielski; his siblings, George Smigielski, Dolores Pietruk, Stephen Smigielski (Ellen), Mary Ann Tampa, Theresa Paterson (Dan), Patricia Zagorski and Catherine O'Rear (Al); and his grandsons, Jack, Benjamin and Josiah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Joseph.
