We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 95, Gene Allen Davis (Howell, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores LaVigne Davis; his former wife Jerline Key; his siblings, Jim and Betty; his children, Darcie and Jeffrey; and his grandson Dwayne.

He is survived by: his father Lee Davis; his wife Rose Myers; his children, Allen Lee Davis (Kay) and Julie Hannan (Phil); his grandchildren, Kandi (Darin), Eric (Kira), Shawn (Morgan) and Shane; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Davis, Parker, Jacob and Tucker. He is also survived by dad amongst family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.

“Rose, Allan and Julie and family, We are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father, grandfather. We also are so happy to have known Gene as a friend and neighbor. We enjoyed our many shared dinners (glad to break bread with you as Gene would say). We have many fond memories of our neighborly gatherings. You got us hooked on feeding birds a real plus. We couldn't have asked for better neighbors/friends. Rest in peace now Gene. We'll always remember you. Sue and Bil Benton.”
