She was predeceased by: her parents, David Smalling and Ethel Smalling (Bates); her former husband Harold "Burt" Cowie; her husband James Joyner; her daughter Nancy Wilber; and her grandson Matt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Sinko and Karen Hawley; and her grandchildren, Shaun, Scott, Shane, Madison, Samantha, Chris and Courtney. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
