He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowman and Alice Bowman (McGill); his wife Adele; his great grandchild Bryce Lee Bowman; and his siblings, Doris Sanford, Thelma Kingsley, Evelyn Rowse, Dorothy Bowman, George "Buzz" Bowman, Allan and Owen Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Edward (Julie Ann), Vondell Montoya (Felix), Ernest (Sandy), Marshal (Jody), Melanie Huff (Kieth), Russell (Lisa), Loella Escamilla (Gus), Brenda Painter (Neil) and Darla Earls (Robert); and his brother Frederick "Ross" Bowman. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren.
