Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Diane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Skidmore and Elsie Skidmore; her husband David Petchell; her son Daniel Petchell; and her brother Jack Skidmore.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Turke (Robert), Carrie Beam (Robert) and Steven Petchell (Cheryl); her daughter-in-law Linda Petchell; and her sister Sandra Diamond. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (504 Prospect St, Howell, MI 48843).
