He was predeceased by: his parents, Nile Simpson and Viola Simpson (Barnes); his wife Kathryn Donna Grove; and his siblings, Harold, Lester, Dale and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his son Bob Simpson (Laurie Lewis); his grandson Austin Simpson (Zoe); and his great grandchildren, Holden and Wenivyre. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
