He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Duchene and Emily Duchene (Manning); and his stepdaughter Crystal Mason. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Duchene (Yingling); his children, Abigail Burnett (Josh Northrup), Torey Schindler (Zachary) and Matthew Duchene; his stepson Christopher Rabideau; his grandsons, Braiden Pankey and Caspean Rabideau (Hazel Northrup); and his siblings, Robert Duchene (Karen), Katie Rockafellow (Scott) and Dianne Samples (Guy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - MacDonald Chapel (315 N Michigan Ave, Howell, MI 48843).
