We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 81, Awatif Jamil Chaaban of Howell, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamil Hamady and Jamal Hamady; her daughter Zalfa; her grandson Salman; and her son-in-law Shaheen El Ayache.
She is survived by: her husband Adel Malik Chaaban; her children, Joumana Chaaban, Eddie (Maggie Chaaban), Ziad (Hiam Chaaban), Suzan (Hassan Al Ruwaily) and Sophia Hutton; and her siblings, Adel (Leyla Hamady), Dr. Fakhri (Najwa Hamady), Frank Hamady and Mahida (Said Abu Hadier). She is also survived by 8 grandsons; 8 granddaughters; and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Awatif's memory would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
