He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Heinig and Oveta Heinig; and his siblings, Kris Heinig (Linda) and Kevin Heinig (Ruth). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Heinig; his pet Remmy; his children, Tanya Heinig (Melissa), Alan Heinig (Colette), Jennifer Flagg (Todd) and Andrew Heinig; his stepchildren, Jordan Law (Paris) and Lauren Law; his grandchildren, Ethan, Hayden, Samantha, Emma, Zach, Andrew, Carter, Tenley, Peyton, Josephine, Lincoln and Eden; and his siblings, Pamela Heinig, Julie Heinig (Jone), Bryan Heinig (Christine), Victoria Nulty (Penny) and Lynda Heinig. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family Life Wesleyan Church (3720 Rowley Rd, Williamston, MI 48895). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Livingston County First Responder Benevolent Fund, which provides financial and personal support for first responders in need due to injury, sickness, disability, death, and other extraordinary circumstances affecting them and their families.
