He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kent and Dorothy Wiseman Kent; his daughter Linda Nugent; his stepson Ted Swanson; and his sons-in-law, George VanHauen and Jerry Nugent.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Kent, Dennis, Fran Kent of Grand Rapids, Denise and Keith Rohloff of Lakeview; his stepson Vincent Berry of Missouri; and his daughter-in-law Lena Swanson of Sand. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews.
