He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alonzo Heminger and Myrtle Heminger (Miller); his wife Sandra Heminger; his children, Angela Fisher (Edward), Pam Hoye (Bill), Mitchel Heminger, Sue Heminger, Brian Heminger (Brenda), Leslie Heminger, Vida Heiss (Jerry) and Lieu Sabin (Lisa); and his nephew Jake Townes (Amber). He was also cherished by his several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“I have not seen Russ in many years. I worked with him for several years andhave many memories. One is his hard work at Model Coverall. The other is a joke about how to catch a unique rabbit. I still have a set of casters he gave me that he took off from a machine being throw away by St. Mary's hospital. As I write this more memories come back. I am glad that I knew Russ.”
