He is survived by: his children, Royce Shaffer, Jr. (Natalie), Carol Lawson of Astoria, Illinois. and Douglas Shaffer of Weidman, MI.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
