With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Emerson Smith of Howard City, Michigan, who passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Smith and Edith Smith (Sherman); his wife Cindy Smith (VanderWall); his daughters, Hope Smith and Rebecca Riley; his grandchildren, Ares, Baylea, Cierra and Zeke; his sisters, Riley, Barb and Debbie; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie and Linda. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given in Roger's name to the American Cancer Society.
