He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Bird and Gladys Bird; his siblings, Betty Kohler, Lawrence Bird and Barbara Larson; his wife Pauline (Butler); his daughters, Beth Weaver (Keith), Pamela Pike (Desmond) and Brenda Bird; and his sisters, Beverly Boerema (Curt), Nancy Schalow and Debbie Bird. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
