He is survived by: his wife Glenna Smith; his children, Trisha Meldrum (Brian) of Stanwood, Alan Ripley (Trisha) of Howard City and Ashley Douglas (Bruce) of Rothbury; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Logan Meldrum, Kaileigh, Kaleb, Gunner Ripley, Austin Cook, Korbin Stencel, Sebastian, Lincoln and Kaura Douglas; his sisters, Angela Shearer (Bob) and Paula Robinson (Albert); his uncle Jack Wilson; and his brothers, Emerson Smith (Mary), Terry Smith (Kathy) and Dudley Smith (Kay). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
