He was predeceased by: his father Kurtis Kooistra; and his nephew Grayson Mey. He is survived by: his mother Carole Randolph; his stepfather Randy Randolph; his siblings, Jodie Fauble (Steve), Jared Kooistra, Joshua Kooistra (Shannan), Heather Strotheide (Nicholas), Amanda Randolph (Dale Talmage) and Ashley Randolph; his nieces, Alayna Kooistra (Jesse Kuczynski), Kuyper Kooistra, Amelia Kooistra, Kinsley Mey and Leighton Strotheide; and his nephew Zade Kooistra.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home (1801 W Washington St, Greenville, MI 48838). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
